Fox News Town Hall Goes Off The Rails As Trump Accuses NY Gov Of Creating ‘Death Panels’

President Donald Trump has a great love of conspiracy theories, and this is not the time to be entertaining them.

Nonetheless, it was just that kind of mindset that made a Fox News “town hall” with Trump and his coronavirus task force go off the rails.

During the discussion, Trump completely lost it on New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, whose press conferences have been infuriating him. Trump invoked the wisdom of Gateway Pundit, a right-wing website known for conspiracy theories and lies, and accused the governor of running “death panels” to combat coronavirus in his state. Trump read:

“This says, ‘New York Governor Cuomo rejected buying recommended 16,000 ventilators in 2015 … for a pandemic.'”

He continued, saying that Cuomo had “established death panels and lotteries instead.”

“So, he had a chance to buy in 2015, 16,000 ventilators at a very low price and he turned it down,” Trump added. “I’m not blaming him or anything else, but he shouldn’t be talking about us.”

As usual, everything is about Trump and his political battles, even in the middle of a global pandemic that has taken the lives of bunches of people and threatens to collapse the global economy any day now.

People watching could not believe what they were seeing and hearing. Here are just a few of the tweets that went out during Trump’s Fox News rant:

This is why it is so absolutely dangerous to have someone like Trump as president. The second the sh!t hits the fan on anything, he literally becomes the reason Americans die. On top of that, his so-called “news” network that tends to act as unofficial state-run television just lets his crazy fly.

If this is not proof that no reputable outlet should run his news conferences and interviews, I don’t know what is.
