Fox News’ Kurtz Says He’s Being ‘Attacked’ by Viewers For Honestly Reporting on Arizona Audit

Donald Trump and the GOP created a monster with his presidency. And now that monster has grown out of control. This was clearly on display during a recent rally in Alabama. After Trump was booed for encouraging his supporters to get vaccinated, he sheepishly told them that it was a personal choice.

That monster couldn’t have been built, however, without the help of the Fox News network. During a Sunday segment, Howard Kurtz talked about the recent ‘audit’ in Arizona. The Fox host admitted that he was being attacked by Fox viewers for accurately reporting on the story.

The Fox host told viewers, “It (the audit) found no hard evidence of substantial fraud and, in fact, awarded Joe Biden 99 more votes and Trump 261 fewer votes. The Republican president of the Arizona Senate which commissioned the audit by the Cyber Ninjas — always makes me think of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles — accepted the findings, saying, numbers are numbers and truth is truth. And here’s Trump trashing the ‘fake news’ for its reporting. What is the press supposed to do when this audit says, yes, Joe Biden won the state by more than 10,000 votes?”

Following the show, Kurtz tweeted, “A little sad that when the GOP-commissioned and Trump-ally-funded Arizona audit found Biden got 99 more votes, people attack me & the media. Raising questions about possible errors & fraud is not the same as proving them, and was reported. This is our tribal politics today.”
