Fox News’ Geraldo Trashes JD Vance, Praises Rachel Maddow Over Twitter

There are many inexperienced and unqualified Republican politicians doing their best impression of Donald Trump. JD Vance, however, should know better. The Yale educated lawyer was a critic of Trump when the 45th president was running for office.

Vance, though, has decided that the best way forward is to appeal to the lowest common denominator. In an effort to do that this weekend, he praised Alex Jones. This led to savage criticism from Fox personality Geraldo Rivera.

The Ohio senate hopeful shared a tweet this weekend from Glenn Greenwald. Vance wrote, “Alex Jones is a far more reputable source of information than Rachel Maddow. One of them is censored by the regime. The other promoted by it.”

Rivera responded to Vance, tweeting, “Hillbilly Elegy author JD Vanceis obviously selling his soul to appeal to the lunatic fringe. Rachel Maddow has some wacky liberal ideas, but she is much closer to the American mainstream than #AlexJones a conspiracy theorist being sued for claiming the Sandy Hook massacre was faked.”
