Its well known that most anchors who work for the Fox News network support President Donald Trump. The most fiercely loyal of those supporters may very well be Lou Dobbs who hosts Lou Dobbs tonight.

There are a number of Republican lawmakers who have expressed weariness about the president’s potential Mexico tariffs. On his show last night, Dobbs went in on these conservatives referring to them as “traitors to their country.”
The host saved much of his vitriol for Senate Majority Leader, Mitch McConnell, who said that there is not much Republican support for the tariffs. ““The Republican Party in the Senate appears, to me, to be on the verge of committing absolute suicide,” said Dobbs. “This is, I think, one of the darkest moments that I have seen in our capital for a long time. This is an abject betrayal on the part of Mitch McConnell.”
Dobbs said of the GOP lawmakers, “They’re telling every American who voted for this president, ‘Go to hell!’ This is a crisis of conscience, of soul for the country. And if these, these haggard, tired leaders of the Republican Party on Capitol Hill sell out this president, it’s going to be, it is going to be a terrible day in America.”
Regardless of Republican worries on the matter, Trump seems to be going full speed ahead on the Mexico tariffs. He tweeted last night, “Can you imagine Cryin’ Chuck Schumer saying out loud, for all to hear, that I am bluffing with respect to putting Tariffs on Mexico. What a Creep. He would rather have our Country fail with drugs & Immigration than give Republicans a win. But he gave Mexico bad advice, no bluff!”
