Fox New Reporter Confirms the Atlantic Donald Trump Military Losers Story

On Thursday, the Atlantic’s Jeffrey Goodman published a bombshell report on Donald Trump and his opinion of the United States Military. The story quoted multiple stories within the White House saying the President refers to some members of the Armed Forces as losers and wondering what was “in it for them.”

The White House furiously denied the story today. Kayleigh McEnany spent 30 seconds refuting the story, but then refusing to take any questions. But late on Friday, a Fox News National Security Correspondent confirmed much of the story.

Griffin tweeted on Friday, “Two former Sr. Trump admin officials confirm Jeffery Goldberg reporting that President Trump disparaged veterans and did not want to drive to honor American war dead at Aisne-Marne Cemetery outside Paris.”

The Fox News reporter continued, “I read the source a few quotes from The Atlantic article. This former Trump admin official said, ‘The President would say things like that. He doesn’t know why people join the military.’ He would muse, ‘Why do they do it’?”

Griffin also confirmed that the President would regularly disparage former Arizona senator John McCain. She wrote, “Regarding McCain, ‘The President just hated John McCain. He always asked, ‘Why do you see him as a hero?’ Two sources confirmed the President did not want flags lowered but others in the White House ordered them at half mast. There was a stand off and then the President relented.”
