Fox Host Interviewing Ted Cruz Ignores Mass Shooting, Monologues About Kamala Harris’ Laugh

Ted Cruz is a big supporter of the 2nd Amendment. Such a big supporter, in fact, that he completely ignores mass shootings every time that they happen.

WASHINGTON, DC – SEPTEMBER 30: U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) questions former FBI Director James Comey, who was appearing remotely, at a hearing of the Senate Judiciary Committee on September 30, 2020 in Washington, DC. Comey was testifying in the committee’s probe into the origins of the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election. (Photo by Ken Cedeno-Pool/Getty Images)

And the Texas senator loves the AR-15, the weapon of choice of most mass shooters. The gun was featured in an awkward 2015 campaign video where Cruz wanted to show Texans how tough he was.

So it was no surprise that Fox News decided against asking Cruz about yesterday’s mass shooting while he was a guest on the show. Instead, host Harris Faulkner focused her line of questioning on Kamala Harris.

Faulkner began by asking, “I do want to get your response to this. She seemingly laughed off a question from a reporter who asked yesterday if she would be visiting the border amid the growing migrant crisis.”

The two Republicans then spent a few minutes talking about Harris’ laugh.

Faulkner continued her tough line of questioning with a opinionated statement. She told Cruz, “If you factor in the pandemic that we’re in, the health crisis that we’re in, they have created an international super spreader event at facilities along our border, endangering everybody! The people trying to get here and Americans. Wow.”
