Fox Guest Says Old Fashioned Racism Was Much Better Than Critical Race Theory

Fox News thrives off creating fear in the minds of their viewers. And for the most part, the situation they’re pushing doesn’t affect the viewers at all.

Civil Rights activists are blocked by National Guardsmen brandishing bayonets while trying to stage a protest on Beale Street in Memphis, Tennessee. The marching demonstrators, who are wearing signs which say “I Am A Man,” are also flanked by tanks.

Take critical race theory, for instance. CRT is an advanced topic that is largely taught in college and law school. But the anchors of Fox News are pushing the idea that the theory is being taught in elementary schools.

And to push the issue farther, Fox often invites guests that are willing to basically say anything. On Sunday, Robert Woodson claimed that he preferred old fashioned racism to CRT.

The Conservative pundit claimed, “It is really destructive. I prefer the old-fashioned racism. This new racism is more insidious and more self-destructive than the old racism. The old racism was external. This is really internal. So when there’s positive disparities, is this because white people permit Blacks to perform?” he asked. “And yet when we come to the English classes and math classes, we’re behind. Does this mean that white people have to give us permission?”

Woodson even opined that things were better back in the 50’s and 60’s. “Under segregation, we achieved more education than we’re doing now in this progressive era.”
