Fox & Friends co-host Brian Kilmeade is not happy about Donald Trump’s decision to pull U.S. troops out of Syrian. Kilmeade on Friday morning said the President has “re-founded ISIS” while handing Russia a “big win” in the region.
Kilmeade was interviewing White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders when he pointed out the hypocrisy of Trump’s actions when compared to President Obama.
“He also is doing exactly what he criticized President Obama for doing. He said President Obama is the founder of ISIS… He just refounded ISIS because they have 30,000 men there and they are already striking back with our would-be evacuation. The president is really on the griddle with this.”
In true Sanders fashion, she stuck to the President’s side and “respectfully and vehemently ” disagreed with Kilmeade while adding, “The idea that the president has had anything to do with helping ISIS reemerge is absolutely outrageous.”
“Leaving is helping,” Kilmeade told Sanders. “Leaving is helping,” he repeated.
Sanders, without providing any solutions, then claimed that Trump would “destroy” ISIS and that 99% of the organization has already been destroyed by Trump, a White House claim that Trump’s own military has denied.
“If ISIS wants to pick a fight with somebody, they sure as heck don’t want to pick one with Donald Trump because he will destroy them and defeat them,” Sanders added. “He’s made that extremely clear.”
