Fox Contributor Lies About CNN’s Fact Checking of Biden, Is Immediately Called Out

Joe Concha works for the Hill and also regularly appears on Fox News programs. He’s not exactly impartial. In fact, his latest piece for the Hill is titled, The disgrace that was the Biden press conference.

The contributor also appeared on Fox News yesterday to talk about Biden’s first presser. And he was quite loose with the truth, claiming that more Liberal networks like CNN didn’t fact check the speech. The lie was immediately called out by CNN’s Oliver Darcy.
Host Dan Bongino asked, “Where are the fact-checkers now? They seem to have all disappeared.” Concha responded, “The ones on television, Dan, certainly have. After every Trump appearance, there would be — for instance CNN’s fact-checker at the ready…comes out of the on-deck circle and then goes through X, Y and Z. This guy — you could find Edward Snowden before you could find CNN’s fact-checker on television at this point.”
This was, of course, a blatant lie. CNN had its resident fact checker, Daniel Dale, cover Biden’s speech on air. Darcy called out the lie, tweeting, “Someone tell Joe Concha that Daniel Dale was on TV fact-checking Biden after his first press conference yesterday. Might be worth watching CNN’s coverage — or at least doing a simple scan of his work, which is available on his CNN bio page — before going on-air and trashing it!”
