Former Republican Rep. Joe Walsh Has A Stern Warning For Fox News Viewers
Former Republican Representative Joe Walsh had a stern warning for viewers of Fox News. The warning was about the coronavirus, which was triggered by a statement from Fox News host, Laura Ingrahm. Ingrahm stated on her show that there was “no real scientific basis” for the belief that social distancing could control the spread of COVID-19. Walsh shared the video with a response. Walsh warned that the rhetoric could get viewers killed.
Have I mentioned before that watching Fox News can get you killed? https://t.co/gia8oyHXa0

Social distancing has been pushed by health officials and the White House as a method to fight the disease. One of the leaders of the White House coronavirus task force, Dr. Deborah Birx said over the weekend, “Social distancing will be with us through the summer to really ensure that we protect one another as we move through these phases.”
Walsh was not the only one to call out the Fox News host/ Many took to Twitter to hold Ingrahm accountable for her comments. Fox News has long downplayed the seriousness of the coronavirus and has been particularly hostile towards measures taken to fight against it.
Not only is social distancing one of the only ways to fight coronavirus but it does not seem to be ending anytime soon. Dr. Birx also stated that Vice President Mike Pence’s prediction that the virus would be under control by Memorial Day was too optimistic.
The infection rate in America has peaked but has yet to decrease. As cities and states begin to loosen restrictions and with rhetoric like that of Ingrahm, one does wonder if social distancing will ever end.
