“F***ing B****” GOP Lawmaker Cusses Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez says that she usually gets along well with her Republican colleagues and that she’s never had an encounter quite like this before. However, as she passed Republican Representative Ted Yoho, of Florida, on the Capitol steps Monday, called her a “f***ing b****.”
According to The Hill, a reporter overheard the interaction, which consisted of a few exchanges. Yoho told Ocasio-Cortez she was “disgusting” for saying that poverty and unemployment drive spikes in crime. She responded to say he was being rude. He continued past her, stopping a few steps down to add, “F***ing b****.”
Ocasio-Corte said that while she’s certainly been the subject of some vitriol from political opposition, she’s never had quite this kind of interaction.
That kind of confrontation hasn’t ever happened to me – ever. I’ve never had that kind of abrupt, disgusting kind of disrespect levied at me.
Tuesday morning on Twitter, however, she followed up by owning the slur, saying, “B*tches get things done.”
I never spoke to Rep. Yoho before he decided to accost me on the steps of the nation’s Capitol yesterday.
Believe it or not, I usually get along fine w/ my GOP colleagues. We know how to check our legislative sparring at the committee door.
But hey, “b*tches” get stuff done. 🤷🏽♀️ https://t.co/WlG3xccwR7

Ted Yoho reportedly refused to comment when approached by reporters, and has made no public statement.
While Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez says that mutual respect is the default behavior when not on the legislative floor, she’s been subject to a lot of verbal attacks from the president, among others. Tweeting earlier this year, for example, he referred to her as “dumb as a rock AOC.”
Our case against lyin’, cheatin’, liddle’ Adam “Shifty” Schiff, Cryin’ Chuck Schumer, Nervous Nancy Pelosi, their leader, dumb as a rock AOC, & the entire Radical Left, Do Nothing Democrat Party, starts today at 10:00 A.M. on @FoxNews, @OANN or Fake News @CNN or Fake News MSDNC!

Another GOP Representative who was present at the time, Roger Williams of Texas, denied hearing the exchange at all, writing it off as a “topic” — “I don’t know what their topic was. There’s always a topic, isn’t there?”
