FEC Demanding Fox News’ Jeanine Pirro Hand Over Finance Reports From Failed Senate Campaign
The FEC (Federal Elections Commission) is reportedly demanding that Fox News host Jeanine Pirro file all her financial reports from her failed 2006 NY Senatorial challenge to then-New York Senator Hillary Clinton.

The Center for Public Integrity’s Dave Levinthal was the first one to report that the FEC sent Pirro such a letter.
“It is important that you file this report immediately, the letter stated. “The failure to timely file a complete report may result in civil money penalties, an audit or legal enforcement action.”
The FEC appears to be quite serious after reportedly asking that Pirro use an “overnight delivery or courier service.” so as to prevent any further delays. The letter also appears to indicate that Pirro has not filed a report since 2011, which is when she first acknowledged owing nearly $600,000 to 20 different vendors.
Levinthal put out a series of tweets that contain the FEC letter in its entirety.
The @FEC wants @JudgeJeanine's old U.S. Senate campaign to explain why it won't comply with federal law — something it hasn't done for years by not filing mandatory campaign finance reports. pic.twitter.com/TSHPCJHWGT

The last time @JudgeJeanine's campaign committee filed a mandatory @FEC report was the end of 2011.
At that time, it reported having 20 creditors owed a combined $589,194 in debt, including to @verizon and the @USPS. Also reported $19,458 cash on hand: https://t.co/ufdCbKkP5t pic.twitter.com/ZwaIpX9J13
