Ex Overstock CEO Patrick Byrne Says Rudy Giuliani is Sh*t-Faced Almost Every Single Night
Over the last few months, Rudy Giuliani has been tasked with overturning the election for Donald Trump. It hasn’t gone well. The former New York City mayor often seems out of sorts. There was one incident where hair dye dripped down the side of his face and another where he audibly passed gas during a hearing.

Giuliani has often been a part of many meetings where Trump ally’s strategized how they might help Trump achieve victory. Another one of those allies, Patrick Byrne, said that Giuliani was regularly drunk during their interactions.
The former Overstock CEO relayed the story on his personal blog. Byrne writes:
“Over the next month and a half, a number of my colleagues interacted with Rudy from time to time, afternoons and evenings, and weekends. Nearly all mentioned two things: the inordinate amount of attention he was paying to his daily podcast, and his drinking. His own staffers were bringing it up to us. Something was clear to all who were around him: almost every evening, and many early afternoons, Rudy was sh*t-faced. That, and his podcasts, were the only guarantees in Rudy’s life.”

Questions about Giuliani’s drinking are common. When has was asked about the issue back in 2018, he responded, “I’m not drinking for lunch. I may have a drink for dinner. I like to drink with cigars.”
