Ex-Aide: Trump is Spiraling Because the Election is Slipping Away From Him [VIDEO]

During a recent appearance on Jen Psaki's MSNBC show, ex-Trump aide Sarah Matthews claimed that Donald Trump is spiralling because the election is slipping away from him.

Donald Trump has responded very poorly since Kamala Harris took over the Democratic nomination. The people in charge of his campaign have essentially pulled him off the road, restricting the Republican to safe space interviews with people like Elon Musk.

Even still, Trump has not been able to avoid controversy and criticism. Sarah Matthews, who once worked as an aide for Trump now speaks out against him. And she gave her analysis of how he's doing during a recent interview with Psaki.

"I think that he feels this election slipping away from him," she said to the host. "And that’s where you’re beginning to see him spiral and cling to these conspiracy theories, as you noted with the AI-generated crowds, which obviously can be easily disproven.'"

"I know it’s insanity,” Matthews continued. “There will be people out there that will believe it, though, because he’s pushing it. And that’s what happens when he gets desperate, is he pushes these conspiracy theories."

The former Trump spokesperson closed, "These are not winning campaign messages. But that is what he does when he feels like he’s under attack, is he uses these kinds of lines of defense that don’t make much sense for campaigning."
