Eric Metaxas Says Refusing to Get Vaccinated Is the Cool Thing to Do

Every day it becomes more apparent that the conservative agenda’s prime directive is to kill people. On Wednesday morning, right-wing commentator Eric Metaxas said in an appearance on Real America’s Voice that COVID-19 is “not a big deal” and that people should refuse to get vaccinated against the coronavirus for the sole purpose of rebelling against the government, even though it has not mandated inoculations or testing for anyone except for federal employees.

First, Metaxas projected fictional as well as overtly dangerous and nonsensical scenarios onto his gullible audience.

“The bottom line is, questions come up about the vaccine. People say, ‘I’m not gonna – this is experimental. I’ve watched this – this pandemic roll out and I’m not afraid of getting it. My kids aren’t afraid of getting it. This is not a big deal for us. I’m not gonna put some experimental thing in my system when we literally don’t know what could happen. So no no no no. I’m not gonna do this,'” Metaxas said.

Then, Metaxas looked directly into the camera and lied to his viewers.

“So then you have people saying, ‘oh no no no. You must do it. The government says you must do it.’ And I think again Americans need to understand if the government or everybody is telling you you have to do something, we don’t have dissent, no dissent, you need to understand, that’s not the American way, folks, and if only to be a rebel, you need to say, ‘I’m not going to do that,'” he added.

As of today, 627,370 Americans have lost their lives since the outbreak began last year, according to the Worldometer COVID Tracker. That grim statistic is once again increasing thanks to the rapid spread of the Delta variant among unvaccinated portions of the population.
