In 2016, Donald Trump won the presidency as a Republican candidate. The GOP leaders used the businessman as a stooge, pushing through tax breaks for the rich and placing judges who took away the rights of women. On the way out, Trump bungled the COVID response and likely committed some crimes.Elon Musk, who Trump slammed over the weekend, doesn’t think his fellow entrepreneur should continue his career in politics. But along with telling the former President to hang ’em up, the Tesla founder also encouraged Democrats to be nice to him.
During an Alaska rally this weekend, Trump said of Musk, “You know he said the other day, ‘oh I’ve never voted for a Republican.’ I said I didn’t know that, he told me he voted for me. So he’s another bullsh*t artist..”
Musk responded on Twitter first by saying that he never told Trump that he voted for him. He continued, “I don’t hate the man, but it’s time for Trump to hang up his hat & sail into the sunset. Dems should also call off the attack – don’t make it so that Trump’s only way to survive is to regain the Presidency.”
After being asked to clarify his comments, the businessman wrote, “Yeah, but too much drama. Do we really want a bull in a china shop situation every single day!? Also, I think the legal maximum age for start of Presidential term should be 69.”

Musk and Trump are more alike than they know. Like Trump is attempting to distract from the J6 hearings, Musk is attempting to distract from his recent failed attempt to buy Twitter.
