Every year Elon Musk seemingly becomes more Conservative. It is not surprising nowadays to hear the billionaire spout Right-Wing conspiracy theories.
Musk, who claims to have voted for Joe Biden in 2020 attacked the President on social media this weekend. And the entrepreneur sounded like he was regurgitating talking points from Newsmax or OAN.
Musk shared a January 2021 article titled, 'Biden to prioritize legal status for millions of immigrants.' He posted, "Biden’s strategy is very simple: 1. Get as many illegals in the country as possible. 2. Legalize them to create a permanent majority – a one-party state. That is why they are encouraging so much illegal immigration. Simple, yet effective."
The X owner continued, "This explains why there are so few deportations, as every deportation is a lost vote. As happened this week, you can literally assault police officers in broad daylight in New York, be released with no bail, give everyone the finger and *still* not be deported!! Outrageous."
It is clear that Musk didn't read the article that he shared. First, it was from January of 2021, which means that it concerns immigrants Biden inherited from Donald Trump. It also outlines an 8 year path to citizenship, which means that Biden would be long gone from the White House by the time these immigrants are eligible to vote.
