Echoing Trump, David Perdue Says His Election Was Also Stolen

Following his loss in the November 2020 election, Donald Trump spent months complaining that the election was rigged. The former President, who has had most things in his life rigged for him, couldn’t face the fact that he lost in embarrassing fashion.

Not surprisingly, many Republicans backed Trump’s claims despite the lack of any kind of evidence. And now some are parroting the former President. During a recent interview with Conservative radio host Brian Pritchard, David Perdue claimed his January 2021 election was stolen as well.

Perdue, who is trying to unseat GOP Georgia Governor Brian Kemp, told the host, “Most people in Georgia know that something untoward happened in November 2020. I’ll just say it, Brian. In my election and the president’s election, they were stolen. The evidence is compelling now.”

Of course, Perdue is lying. There is no evidence that the election was stolen from him. In fact, audits run by the Republican-led state government have found nothing to back his claim.
