During the January 6th Insurrection, Liz Cheney Told Jim Jordan, “You F*cking Did This”
Donald Trump had a lot of Republican enablers when he was in office. But few were more sycophantic and aggressive that Jim Jordan. The Ohio congressman became well known nationally for his pit-bull like behavior around Trump.
So it was no surprise that Jordan had Trump’s back when he tried to overturn the results of the 2020 election. Liz Cheney was one of the few Republicans who fought back against Trump. And in a new book, there is an interesting anecdote about Cheney and Jordan’s interactions during the riots.
The report comes from I Alone Can Fix It: Donald J. Trump’s Catastrophic Final Year, a new book from Phil Rucker and Carol Leonnig. The authors write about a phone call between Cheney and chairman of the Joint Chief of Staffs Mark Milley.

Cheney said on the call, “That f—ing guy Jim Jordan. That son of a b—-.… While these maniacs are going through the place, I’m standing in the aisle and he said, ‘We need to get the ladies away from the aisle. Let me help you.’ I smacked his hand away and told him, ‘Get away from me. You f—ing did this.'”
