Donald Trump Says Chris Christie isn't 'Fit' to Run For President

Before the days of Donald Trump, politicians had to have some kind of skill that would get them into office. For Chris Christie, it was his ability to argue. The Republican was a United States Attorney prior to being elected as Governor of New Jersey.

The debate stage is where Christie is at his best. And he had a good showing at this week's Republican debate. Knowing that this could help him in the polls, Trump felt the need to attack his former friend on Friday.

The former President wrote, "Sloppy Chris Christie is not fit to run for President. He is suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome. According to all, he came in LAST in the debate, and I came in FIRST, as I have in all of the debates, without even being there. MAGA!"

To be fair, Christie had gone after Trump during this week's debate. He said of the former President:

"This is an angry, bitter man who now wants to be back as president because he wants to exact retribution on anyone who has disagreed with him, anyone who’s tried to hold him to account for his own conduct, and every one of these policies that he’s talking about are about pursuing a plan of retribution."
