Donald Trump issued an angry post against his former friend Howard Stern on Truth Social Friday night.
There was a time when Trump and Stern were quite close. The former President was a frequent guest on Stern's radio show and Stern had attended Trump's wedding to Melania.
Stern, however, was a supporter of both Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden. And the radio host has been more than happy to criticize Trump for various issues over the years. This week, Stern noted that Trump has asked him to introduce him at the 2016 Republican National Convention and explained why he declined.
Trump responded to being called out by Stern, writing:
"The real Howard Stern is a weak, pathetic, and disloyal guy, who lost his friends and MUCH of his audience. Until just recently, I haven't heard his name mentioned in years. I did his show many times in the good old days, and then he went Woke, and nobody cares about him any longer. I don't know what they (really!) pay him, but it shouldn't be much. His influence is gone, and without that he's got NOTHING - Just a broken weirdo, unattractive both inside and out."
It remains to be seen whether Stern will respond to Trump's critiques in the coming days.
