As he fights various court cases in several states, Donald Trump desperately needs money. He had his daughter-in-law Lara take over the RNC so he could funnel money meant for Republican candidates toward his legal bills. And he was also seemingly counting on being able to sell his shares in Trump Media.
The problem for Trump is that the stock in his media company is falling daily. And when Jimmy Kimmel mocked Trump's failed stock, the former President lost it on the late-night host.
Kimmel told his audience on Tuesday night, "If you bought Trump stock two weeks ago ― and shame on you if you did ― you lost half your money. But if you hold on just a little bit longer, you might be able to lose all of it.”
Trump didn't take long to respond to Kimmel's slams and did it via Truth Social, writing:
"Stupid Jimmy Kimmel, who still hasn’t recovered from his horrendous performance and big ratings drop as Host of The Academy Awards, especially when he showed he suffered from TDS, commonly known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME, to the entire World by reading on air my TRUTH about how bad a job he was doing that night, right before he stumbled through announcing the biggest award of all, 'Picture of the Year."
Trump was also angry that Kimmel mocked him during the Oscars when he made a joke about 'jail time.' The former President should have bigger things to worry about than late-night jokes, but his thin skin always takes precedence.
