President Donald Trump just told his followers that he’s thinking about doing away with press briefings all together.
The President’s thought process is that briefings can take his administration’s goals out of context and lead to misleading stories.
Trump has had nothing short of a disastrous relationship with mainstream media since taking office. He regularly refers to CNN, The Wall Street Journal, and other publications as “fake news.”
The President has gone so far as to openly mock The New York Times when subscription numbers have fallen.
While President Trump says he supports job creation in the United States, he seems hellbent on having every journalist fired at major publications that disagree with his tweets, policies, and oddball behavior.
What’s most scary about the President’s most recently attempts to destroy the free press is the number of likes he has received on his tweet. Trump has collected more than 25,200 “Likes” from his sheeple.
Welcome to the Red State…
