Donald Trump Jr. Stupidly Posts American Flag With 51 Stars Not Realizing the Flag Represents DC Statehood

Whenever Republicans have been able to get a majority in the US senate, they have ruthlessly abused the power. When Antonin Scalia died in February of 2016, Mitch McConnell was able to use the majority to stop the nomination of Merrick Garland. GOP lawmakers later placed Neil Gorsuch on the court.

With a majority in congress, the senate and the White House, Democrats have the chance to expand their majority by making Washington DC a state. To promote the idea, a US Flag with 51 stars has been shared on the internet. This weekend, Donald Trump Jr. mistakenly shared an image of the flag.

The former president’s dimwitted son shared the image and wrote, “That’s it! That’s the post.” Democratic activist Charlotte Clymer posted the image, noting, “Meanwhile, Donald Trump, Jr. posted an American flag on Insta without realizing it’s the 51-star proposed design for D.C. Statehood.” Not long after she tweeted the message, Trump Jr. deleted the Instagram post.

This wasn’t the only issue that the former president’s son encountered this weekend. A judge recently ruled that a case brought against Trump Jr. by former GOP political candidate Don Blankenship can move forward.
