Donald Trump Jr.’s Name Shockingly Drawn in Alaska Grizzly Bear Hunt Lottery

Donald Trump Jr. is a man of many hobbies. The hobby he seems to enjoy most, at least according to his Instagram page, is big game hunting. The President’s son has traveled all over the world in an attempt to shoot some of the world’s biggest animals.

During this time of year, Alaska allows a small percentage of people to hunt for grizzly bears. This is a popular hunt and there is such a large demand for licenses, that the state holds a lottery. This year, one of the state’s 27 lottery winners was Donald Trump Jr.

The First Son’s name was “picked” out of thousands of applications. Wildlife Conservation Director Eddie Grasser said, “pure chance, luck of the draw.”

This won’t be Trump Jr.’s only hunt this year. The Safari Club is auctioning off the opportunity to go on a week long hunt with him and his son. According to the website:

“This year we will be featuring Donald Trump Jr., the number one ambassador for our way of life. … Don Jr and his son will be hosting this year’s hunt along with [Master Guide] Keegan [McCarthy] in Alaska. Join them aboard Alaska’s premiere luxury hunting vessel for a 7-day Sitka black-tailed deer and sea ducks hunt.”

The hunting trip with the Trumps sold for $150,000.
