Donald Trump Jr. is Trying to Recruit a Poll-Watching Army

Republicans are seeing terrifying poll after terrifying poll. Not only is Donald Trump down in nearly every swing state, places like Georgia, Iowa and Texas are coming into play. The GOP is starting to realize that there is a very good chance that they lose in November.

Rather than trying to win undecided voters, though, some in the party are looking to intimidate voters on the other side. In a recent campaign spot, the president’s son, Donald Jr., attempted to recruit Trump supporters to act as special poll watchers.

The video was published on the Trump campaign’s Facebook page. A rough looking Trump Jr. told supporters, “We need every able-bodied man and woman to join Army for Trump’s election security operation. We need you to help us watch them.”

These comments are certainly along the same lines as one’s recently made by the president himself. Trump recently told rally-goers, “They are planting stories that President Trump will have a landslide lead on election night but will lose when they finish counting the mail-in ballots. Their plan is to add millions of fraudulent ballots that can cancel your vote and overturn the election. We cannot let that happen.”

Of course, there is no evidence to either of the Trump’s claims. We can, however, expect more complaints along the same lines leading up to November.
