Donald Trump carried out a nearly $100 million bombing of a Syrian airbase and the operation completely missed the bases runaway.
On Saturday, President Trump tweeted:
The reason you don't generally hit runways is that they are easy and inexpensive to quickly fix (fill in and top)!

The tweet reads: “The reason you don’t generally hit runways is that they are easy and inexpensive to quickly fix (fill in and top)!”
His public message left many Twitter users scratching their head over the President’s attempts to sound like a military expert. It was also a surprise because the question about missing the runway was not universally asked.
The biggest question was why Trump’s administration contacted Russian ahead of the bombing to warn Syria’s ally of the upcoming attack.
Only hours after the bombing, Syrian airplanes were spotted taking off from the facility.
Red State Disaster noted hours after the attack that Trump spent years warning President Obama about a potential Syria attack.
Among the POTUS’ former tweets were these gems:”Now that Obama’s poll numbers are in
“Now that Obama’s poll numbers are in tailspin — watch for him to launch a strike in Libya or Iran. He is desperate.”
And this doozy:
“The President must get Congressional approval before attacking Syria — big mistake if he does not!”
I wish there was a good reason for why Donald Trump would choose to tweet about something he DIDN’T DO but let’s face it, he just loves to hear himself speak — or tweet as it may be.
Welcome to the Red State…
