Donald Trump Hates Crypto But Melania is Pushing Bitcoin and NFT’s

Donald Trump has never been a fan of cryptocurrency. He has railed against it on numerous occasions. In June, he said that crypto was “a scam against the dollar.”

And in September, the former president told Fox News:

“I’m a big fan of our currency and I don’t want to have other currencies coming out and hurting or demeaning the dollar in any way. If you look at a monetary system based on the dollar, if you start losing credibility, all of a sudden you’re going to lose that strong monetary system. We have to be very careful about that.”

Melania Trump, however, doesn’t necessarily agree with her husband. She posted on her personal Twitter account on Monday, “It is widely reported that Bitcoin’s market cap exceeds USD$1 Trillion.  Today marks the 13th anniversary of the Bitcoin Genesis Block.  Happy Anniversary, Satoshi Nakamoto.”

Of course, this stance from Melania is probably related to her new NFT venture. The former first lady is selling a non-fungible token of her eyes.
