Donald Trump Embarrasses Himself, Forgets His Son’s Arrest Record Is Public
Donald Trump loves to brag about his accomplishments, regardless of whether they’re actually true. In fact, he’ll even brag about an accomplishment when there are public records showing it’s false.
In an interview with Women For Trump, for example, PoliNews reports that Trump bragged about his parenting skills. Of course, broadly, those are a matter of opinion, hard to prove true or false. However, the former president delved into specifics.
In what might have been intended as an attack on Hunter Biden, and by extension, his father, President Joe Biden, Trump declared that one measure of successful parenting is keeping one’s children away from drugs, alcohol, and cigarettes.
It’s not even necessary to rely on the public speculation that Donald Trump Jr. has been under the influence of some substance when posting various videos on social media, such as the one below, apparently posted from his bed and moaning about not getting Instagram likes.
I can’t get past how terrible this video is. It’s one of the worst things I’ve ever seen. And Don Jr’s theory is it isn’t spreading around the internet like wildfire because of a conspiracy. I think there’s a more simple explanation! pic.twitter.com/UGBjEA1iOi

Instead, we can rely on the public record. As America Blog reported last year, the record from Trump Jr.’s 2001 arrest is now publicly available, and online.
The former president’s eldest son was charged with public drunkenness — at 6:15 in the morning on a Sunday. He reportedly spent a day and night in jail before being released at 8 a.m. the next day. The case was later dismissed.
Of course, no kid — especially by the age of 23, as Jr. was at the time — perfectly follows everything their parents have taught them, and a pretty significant portion of the population has made one mistake or another involving alcohol or drugs. It would hardly be noteworthy if it wasn’t for the hypocrisy.
