Donald Trump Calls on Joe Rogan to Stop Apologizing to the Fake News Media

Throughout the pandemic, Joe Rogan has pushed vaccine hesitancy. The popular podcast host first told young listeners that they probably didn’t have to worry about getting inoculated. And when Rogan contracted COVID himself, he said that he was treating the illness with hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin.

Because of the anti-vax views, people began paying attention to what Rogan had said in the past. And the podcast host had used the n-word on a number of occasions along with making other insensitive racial comments. Rogan has delivered multiple apologies for his actions, but Donald Trump thinks he should knock it off.

Trump released a statement on Monday night that read, “Joe Rogan is an interesting and popular guy, but he’s got to stop apologizing to the Fake News and Radical Left maniacs and lunatics. How many ways can you say you’re sorry? Joe, just go about what you do so well and don’t let them make you look weak and frightened. That’s not you and it never will be!”

Rogan recently apologized for the racist comments, saying, “I know that to most people there’s no context where a white person is ever allowed to say that word, never mind publicly on a podcast and I agree with that now. I haven’t said it in years,” Rogan said. “It’s not my word to use, I’m well aware of that now.”

The podcast host also complained that a video featuring him saying the n-word on multiple occasions lacked context. “I never used it to be racist because I’m not racist,” he claimed.
