Don Lemon on Fox News: “I’m Embarrassed for Them”

The 3 major cable news networks, Fox News, MSNBC and CNN, have long been locked in a ratings death battle. Fox typically wins the prime-time ratings war, but they do have the advantage of Liberals being split on MSNBC and CNN.

Despite the high ratings, the anchors at Fox are more willing to show political bias. While that would bother most journalists, it doesn’t bother all of them. During a recent interview, CNN’s Don Lemon said of the competing networks willingness to show bias, “I’m embarrassed for them.”

Lemon made the comments while speaking with Mediaite’s Aidan McLaughlin. “I try not to traffic in the, you know, criticize the other network thing,” he said. “I don’t really like to do that, but there are times when you have to, because this… I like to c all it state run or state TV. They become an arm of the Trump administration. So sometimes it’s impossible not to criticize them.”

The CNN host then attacked the way some Fox anchors cover Donald Trump. “I used to watch Fox a lot more before the Trump era, but during Trump they’ve become such apologists. And I think what they’re doing is really, really dangerous because, at least at certain times of the day, you could expect to get truth and objectivity on Fox.”

Lemon closed his Fox comments by saying, “I used to watch Fox religiously because I thought they had some really great journalists and great programming, but I can’t watch anymore. It’s just infuriating, and I’m embarrassed for them.”
