Dinesh D’Souza is Upset With Tucker Carlson and Newsmax for Ignoring His 2020 Election Movie

Donald Trump may not be in office anymore, but everyone in his orbit is still trying a make a buck off his presidency. That includes Dinesh D’Souza. In 2018, Trump pardoned the Conservative pundit, who was convicted in 2014 of campaign finance violations.

D’Souza has paid back the former president by strongly backing his big lie. The pundit produced a conspiracy-laden film and was hoping that he’d have the backing of the biggest right-wing networks. It seems, however, that they aren’t interested. D’Souza took to Twitter to whine that Tucker Carlson and Newsmax are passing him over.

Carlson was asked in a tweet if he planned on promoting the film 2,000 Mules. D’Souza responded, “I’m sorry to say Tucker Carlson and his team specifically instructed Catherine Engelbrecht of True the Vote NOT to mention the movie.”

D’Souza also noted, “Newsmax is also blocking coverage of 2000 Mules. I was booked on Grant Stinchfield’s Newsmax show and then the network cancelled on me. Criticize the move if you like, but why isn’t this a legitimate news story? How can so-called news networks pretend it doesn’t exist?”

Both Fox and Newsmax have been named in major lawsuits over their coverage of the 2020 election. That could be the reason behind their lack of interest.
