Despite Constant Promotion, Chris Christie’s Latest Book Is a Massive Bomb

Back in 2013, Chris Christie was pretty popular. After he did a good job of handling Super Storm Sandy, he was reelected in blue state New Jersey by 22%.

Everything has been downhill since then. By the time he left office in January of 2018, his approval rating had plunged to a dismal 15%. Despite the fact that few people liked him, Christie sought the Republican nomination and did not come close.

The former New Jersey governor then tied his star to Donald Trump, acting as an adviser throughout the presidency. Christie has recently written a book about his experiences and his visions for the GOP feature. Despite getting plum television spots for weeks, the book was a total flop.

Meidas Touch reports, “Chris Christie’s new book sold just 2,289 copies during its first week of release, making it one of the biggest flops in history despite nonstop coverage on every cable news network. Have a nice Monday!”

Christie is seemingly immune to embarrassment, so no one knows how he might react to this. And he is sure to appear on cable news to talk about Trump again soon.
