Dan Bongino Accuses Geraldo of Backstabbing Trump by Bringing up Hannity Texts [VIDEO]

It was pretty clear to anyone watching the 1/6 insurrection live that it was a horrible and violent situation. It did not take long, though, for Fox News to start spinning the story.

Sean Hannity was one of these spin doctors. But thanks to text messages read out by Liz Cheney, we now know that Hannity pleaded with Mark Meadows to talk Trump into stopping the insurrection.

Geraldo Rivera, on Tuesday night, asked Hannity to remember why he felt that way back in January. And for that suggestion, he was called a backstabber by Fox personality Dan Bongino.

Rivera said to the Fox host, “I beg you, Sean, to remember the frame of mind you were in when you wrote that text on January 6th. And when Laura [Ingraham] did. And when Brian [Kilmeade] did. And when Don Jr. did. Remember that concern you had. Remember the frustration you had at our beloved 45th president…Why doesn’t he say something?”

Bongino, whose job is seemingly to be constantly enraged, reacted angrily. He said to Geraldo, “the backstabbing of the president you are engaging in is really disgusting and it’s really vile…” Rivera responded, “I resent that.”
