In 2016, Donald Trump shockingly won the presidency. This has apparently led many in his circle to assume they have political futures. Lara Trump is reportedly planning to run for a North Carolina senate seat in 2022. And there are rumors that Donald Trump Jr. may be looking to run for president in 2024.

Scott Baio, who had the vast majority of his acting success in the 1970’s and 80’s is one of Trump’s most prominent celebrity fans. And like Trump’s family members, the actor thinks he may have a future in politics. On Friday, Baio threatened to move to Utah and run against anti-Trump senator Mitt Romney.
Romney earned the actor’s ire by slamming Trump for his post election tantrum. The Utah senator tweeted, “Having failed to make even a plausible case of widespread fraud or conspiracy before any court of law, the president has now resorted to overt pressure on state and local officials to subvert the will of the people and overturn the election. It is difficult to imagine a worse, more undemocratic action by a sitting U.S. president.”
Hey @MittRomney, beautiful golf courses in Utah……maybe I'll move there, play a few rounds and unseat you. P.S. My wife is still waiting for her $2600 refund. Remember your wife canceled that Beverly Hills political luncheon fundraiser? But your campaign kept the money. https://t.co/ZMBZVZw3zZ
