Thanks to Twitter, users can often discover the inner thoughts of celebrities and sports figures. While most public figures lean to the left, some lean pretty far to the right. That is certainly true of former game show host, Chuck Woolery.
Woolery, best known for hosting The Love Connection, is an unabashed fan of Donald Trump. He is such a fan, in fact, that he recently accused multiple doctors and scientist of lying about COVID-19 to make the President look bad. His account is now gone from the website.
The original host of Wheel of Fortune wrote on Monday, “The most outrageous lies are the ones about COVID-19. Everyone is lying. The CDC, media, Democrats, our Doctors, not all but most, that we are told to trust. I think it’s all about the election and keeping the economy from coming back, which is about the election. I’m sick of it.”
GTFOH!!!! Didn’t you just tweet this 24 hours ago??!! Once again folks! Republicans don’t believe it until it hits them personally! Over 134,000 deaths and just NOW the lightbulb goes off for Chuck because his son is positive! WE TOLD YOU SO! Humble Pie tastes like sh**, huh?! pic.twitter.com/n0L7gaX0eF

This message was retweeted by Trump the very same day.
On Tuesday, Woolery tried to walk back the comments, writing, “To further clarify and add perspective, COVID-19 is real and it is here. My son tested positive for the virus, and I feel for those suffering and especially for those who have lost loved ones.”
While Woolery may have had a change of heart, he no longer has a Twitter account. His username has been deleted. It is unclear whether the former host deleted his account or if it was done by the website itself.
