Consultant to PA GOP Gov. Candidate Mastriano Says Jews Aren’t Welcome in Conservative Movement

Donald Trump may be out of the White House, but his fingerprints are still all over the Republican party. This Spring and Summer, a number of Extremist Conservative candidates won their primaries and will be seeking major office.

Doug Mastriano may be the most extreme candidate at all. Running for Governor of Pennsylvania, the Republican paid Andrew Torba, the Christian Nationalist founder of Gab, $5,000 to be a consultant. Torba recently said that Conservatism is for Christians only and Republican Jews must convert.

The Gab founder ranted:

“We don’t want people who are Jewish. We don’t want people who are, you know, nonbelievers, agnostic, whatever. This is an explicitly Christian movement because this is an explicitly Christian country. We’re not saying we’re going to deport all these people or whatever. You’re free to stay here. You’re not going to be forced to convert or anything like this because that’s not biblical whatsoever. But you’re going to enjoy the fruits of living in a Christian society under Christian laws and under a Christian culture and you can thank us later.”

When asked why he wanted Mastriano to win, Torba noted, “This is the most important election of the 2022 midterms because Doug is an outspoken Christian. He’s going to turn this state around for the glory of God. That is the mission here folks.”
