Conservative Radio Host Vows To Die To Keep Trump In Office

Eric Metaxas, a conservative radio host, was speaking to a Pennsylvania state senator on his show when President Donald Trump apparently contacted the senator. Metaxas grabbed the opportunity to have the president on his show — and Trump grabbed the opportunity to be heard. He asked Metaxas to tell his audience that he, Trump, won the election, and Metaxas declared his willingness to die to make it so.

In the clip below, Senator Doug Mastriano takes a call from Donald Trump. Metaxas has the senator ask for any message Trump might have for listeners. “Well, only that we won the election, we won it by a lot,” responds the president, who lost the election by more than 6 million votes, and lost the electoral college with only 232 electors won compared to Joe Biden’s 306.

Lavishing praise upon the president and supporting his false claims, Metaxas declares that he would do anything to keep Trump in office, and that it’s God’s will.

Just keep it going. I’d be happy to die in this fight. This is a fight for everything. God is with us. Thank you, Mr. President, God bless you.

Mastriano has been spreading the false claim that elections in Pennsylvania were “compromised” and that the state must therefore make the decision about selecting electors, rather than accepting the will of the people.

Early in the clip, before offering to die for his president, Metaxas offers to list on the air all the Pennsylvania state senators who aren’t willing to “stand up for the nation” by trying to help Trump stay in office after his historic loss to Joe Biden.
