[COMMENTARY] What a Difference A POTUS Makes: Twitter Hails Biden As He Tops Trump at G7

President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden are currently on their first overseas trip to take part in the G7 conference with other world leaders. The President and Mrs. Biden also met with Queen Elizabeth and did nothing at all to embarrass either themselves or the country the entire time they were there.

Photos from the conference show a smiling and relaxed President Biden, laughing with Emmanuel Macron of France and the others gathered at the conference. The President was photographed in his famous aviator sunglasses while saluting the American flag while standing with his wife and the Queen. And unlike his predecessor, President Biden continues to decline a joint press conference with Vladimir Putin.

The difference between the Bidens and the Trumps at the international conference didn’t escape the whole of Twitter, of course. While the Bidens continue to impress foreign dignitaries in the hopes to heal the fractured relationships left by the former guy, users were recalling how Trump oafishly pushed his way through a group to be at the front of a photo op and dressed poorly for an official event at Buckingham Palace.

The Bidens’ tour has been called everything from “a breath of fresh air” to “a re-boot” for America. Conversely, Trumps’ appearances have elicited nothing but photographic gold like this.
