Quick history lesson before we take a deep dive into that crazy headline: Russia isn’t our ally. Ukraine is our ally. Are we clear on that? Because it doesn’t seem like the GOP has that part figured out quite yet. I suppose it’s tough to make the choice between supporting and not supporting a potential World War III when someone has some blackmail to hold over you.
“Russia, if you’re listening…” Donald Trump famously said on the 2016 campaign trail. Because he already knew they were listening. He had gone on Russian TV to praise Daddy Vlad Putin over the sitting American President, Barack Obama. The Russians had already hacked the RNC and DNC servers, but they have yet to release what they found on the GOP. Weird how that’s played out, huh?
The matching shirts are such a tell. Trump’s real father didn’t love him, so when Putin courted him, Trump mistook the gaslighting for love. And now here we are, yay! Putin’s playing Wag the Dog with his Ukraine invasion, Streisand Effecting the situation while pretending he’s not still lining up his army along the border. Does he want war, or does he just want us to think he wants war? John Lennon didn’t sing about mind games for nothing, but this time, love really isn’t the answer.

And neither is prayer, Franklin Graham. Especially not if you’re offering them up for a Russian dictator but not for Joe Biden. Or our troops over there. Or for a peaceful resolution. Nah, you just went right to appeasing the biggest walking ego on the planet not named Donald Trump.
Pray for President Putin today. This may sound like a strange request, but we need to pray that God would work in his heart so that war could be avoided at all cost. May God give wisdom to the leaders involved in these talks & negotiations, as well as those advising them.

It’ll never stop astonishing me that the same people who have put so much of their life’s energy into the Invisible Sky Daddy also refuse to acknowledge a viable life-saving vaccine. Science can co-exist with theology–maybe you call it being agnostic, because nothing’s been proven and it probably will never be proven–but if theologians aren’t going to play nice with science and reality, we’re going to have a continued God Problem in this country Especially when allegedly full-grown adults keep perpetuating the myth that the private thoughts inside of their own heads do anything outside of their own heads. Prayers might also just be called “ideas” or “meditations” or “my inner monologue” unless you specifically act on the things you thought of inside of your own head. Whatever you think of prayers, they’re really not going to stop anything from happening, and they definitely aren’t going to change Putin into a good human being.
Franklin Graham praying for Putin and not for Biden tells you all you need to know about Franklin Graham.

Stop talking about what’s in another person’s heart, you don’t know. Especially not a murderous power-hungry dictator who installed Donald Trump into our White House. The hypocrisy is beyond human ability to measure. At least Twitter was there to tell Graham exactly what to do with his thoughts and prayers. Also, I believe every organized religion is a sham cult, but if you still want to assemble under the guise of being a legitimate business along with your Bible myths, you should have to pay up, Churchy peeps.

Today @Franklin_Graham asked people to pray for Putin.
That's at least one more time than he's asked people to pray for Barack Obama or Joe Biden.https://t.co/wLUn4wuyJG

Franklin Graham asks his followers to pray for Putin.
Guess he forgot about the Ukrainians and our NATO allies.
It's almost like he supports the enemy who is about to declare war and kill people. 🤔
