[COMMENTARY/WATCH] New Poll Indicates Democrats Support Kamala More Than Biden

Vice President Kamala Harris is now more popular with her own party than President Joe Biden, according to a new poll.

The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research reported Wednesday that while previous polling (before he stepped aside) indicated only about 40% of Democrats were enthusiastic about President Joe Biden, just over 81% are ready for President Kamala Harris.

The poll surveyed 1,143 respondents, so that's a rather small sampling. But it's still an indication of the overwhelming enthusiasm for VP Harris since she became the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee.

The response also shows a stronger belief that Kamala Harris is fully capable of taking on the rigors of the job. A higher percentage of Americans believe VP Harris would make a good president than they did earlier in July. This is a shift that was driven by Democrats and thankfully picked up on by the MSM. Over the last ten days, positive news stories about Kamala Harris have increased exponentially, while negative stories about the GOP's wildly unpopular and "weird" ticket began to circulate.

"MVP" has continued to defy expectations with record-breaking fundraising totals thanks to a newly energized and mobilized Democratic coalition crossing all communities and generations. As of press time, the Harris For President campaign has raised over $210 million, while the two-year-old Trump campaign has a mere $112 in its coffers.

The perceptible shift in energy has GOP strategists plenty worried, especially after videos from the VP's appearance Tuesday night in Atlanta with Megan Thee Stallion showed an enthusiastically happy crowd that scared a whole lot of mediocre MAGA dudes.
