[COMMENTARY/WATCH] K-Hive Meets BeyHive In First Official Kamala Harris Campaign Ad

You can take several seats, Kid Rock.

Kamala Harris has Beyoncé.

The Vice President and Democratic Presidential nominee has chosen Queen Bey's anthem “Freedom,” from her essential 2016 landmark album, Lemonade, as her campaign's theme song.

VP Harris used “Freedom” during her first official public appearance as a presidential candidate at her campaign headquarters in Delaware on Monday.  It was also used as her entrance music and again at the end of her packed high-energy rally in Milwaukee on Tuesday.

The new ad, which dropped on Thursday, opens with the Vice President's voice as the first notes of "Freedom" rise.

"In this election, we each face a question," VP Harris begins. "What kind of country do we want to live in?"

Contrasting images show the differences between Kamala's crowds and the MAGA voters who "think we should be a country of chaos, of fear, of hate."

Those last two words are spoken over the images of Donald Trump and the most unpopular VP pick in history, JD "Hillbilly Effigy" Vance.

As a crowd cheers her name, the viewer is hit with one of those lump-in-the-throat-moments as Kamala Harris delivers THE line:

"We choose something different," she says, and you know it's coming but your eyes well up anyway.

"We choose freedom."

Kudos to the editor, because then that chorus explodes.

"Freedom! Freedom! I can’t move / Freedom, cut me loose!”

The song perfectly underscores the challenges the VP faces from her opponent, whose base hasn't yet met a low enough bar.

One of the themes of the VP's campaign is “We’re not going back," which has multiple meanings as the nation is poised to elect its first woman President--who also happens to be Black and of South Asian descent.

The Vice President's popularity has her opponent and his campaign staff plenty scared. Trump is revving up his attacks on Harris, calling her “bad news” and “a radical left, not very smart person” in an interview with Fox News on Thursday.

OK, Trumper.
