[COMMENTARY] Twitter Torches Trump’s ‘Tiny Hand’ Tomahawk Chop

First, he lied about being invited to the World Series. Then, Donald Trump participated in what one Twitter user described as a “white supremacist photo op” while his wife openly rolled her eyes at him like the rest of us.

Just another night in Atlanta, y’all.

Trump lied when he claimed Saturday that he was invited to attend Game 4 of the World Series by New York Yankees president Randy Levine and Major League Baseball commissioner Rob Manfred. “Looking forward to being at the World Series in Atlanta tonight,” Trump said in a statement from his Save America PAC on Saturday. “Thank you to the Commissioner of Baseball Rob Manfred, and Randy Levine of the great New York Yankees, for the invite. Melania and I are looking forward to a wonderful evening watching two great teams!”

Sports network SNY said that Trump’s statement “ran counter to a Wednesday report in USA Today, in which Braves CEO Terry McGuirk said, ‘He called MLB and wanted to come to the game. We were very surprised. Of course, we said yes.'”

He just can’t not lie about the simplest things. All this guy ever wanted was for his dad to play catch with him, and now here we are.

But anyway, aside from not being invited, Trump also enthusiastically performed the Tomahawk Chop, which has been denounced by Native American groups and continues to flourish despite its obvious racist roots.

And Twitter had no problem dragging him for that, plus the fact that his wife was caught on camera looking absolutely miserable to be still stuck with Captain Thumbs Up.
