Maybe I should be grateful that Rachel Maddow and other members of the mainstream media are finally picking up on something I’ve been writing about since September 2021. But I’m still very concerned that we’re just going to hear a lot of conversation around the MAGA plot to completely dismantle the American voting system from within when what we need is a serious action to stop the Big Lie before it somehow becomes the Big Accepted Truth With Too Many Voters.
Donald Trump’s terrible, no good, very bad handpicked candidates are going to do everything they can to disrupt this year’s midterms, but they’re literally gunning for the 2024 Presidential election, and they’re not doing anything to cover it up, neither. So what are Jaime Harrison and the Democrats going to do about it? How do we stop them from denying legitimate election results in every race in America every two years? And by the way, that’s not all they’re doing.
They’re starting at the local school board level while also pushing challengers of “disloyal” Republicans in Congress. They’re hanging out with the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers to create violent protests in front of schools and then blame it on the Democrats. They’re pushing false narratives about sitting Democratic lawmakers being pedophiles. They’re rewriting and whitewashing American history and math while removing protections from minority communities and anyone with a viable uterus as fast as they can. Democrats are in danger of losing their majority if something drastic doesn’t happen immediately.

The only way to keep this country moving forward is to take a step backward, technologically speaking. It’s time to go back to voting solely on unhackable hand-marked paper ballots that are counted in a bipartisan manner.
