[COMMENTARY] Trump Solidifies His Legacy as ‘Putin’s Puppet’ After Praising Ukraine Invasion ‘Peacemakers’

Hillary was right.

I really could end this here. She was right. Donald Trump is Putin’s puppet. And he’s been under Daddy Vlad’s thumb since the late 80s, as many fine people have been screaming into the void of the internets for a while now, including yours truly.

Here are the Orange Menace’s own vile and treasonous words about Daddy Vlad invading an American ally:

“I went in yesterday and there was a television screen, and I said, ‘This is genius.” Putin declares a big portion of the Ukraine — of Ukraine — Putin declares it as independent. Oh, that’s wonderful. I said, ‘How smart is that?’ And he’s gonna go in and be a peacekeeper. That’s the strongest peace force… We could use that on our southern border. That’s the strongest peace force I’ve ever seen. There were more army tanks than I’ve ever seen. They’re gonna keep peace all right. No, but think of it. Here’s a guy who’s very savvy.”

The thing about Donald Trump is that he can’t ever stop telling on himself. He openly asked for Russia’s help in stealing an election from Hillary Clinton. And there are eleventy billion other things to pop him for–did I mention HE STOLE CLASSIFIED DOCUMENTS FROM THE WHITE HOUSE?–blatantly supporting the invasion of a U.S. ally by a foreign dictator after stealing classified documents from the White House is VERY EXTRA PROBLEMATIC, MERRICK GARLAND.

It’s still pretty strange that Putin never tried this while his puppet was installed in the White House, because Trump would’ve probably let it happen on Day One if Daddy Vlad wanted. But Russians are also incredibly patient and excel at playing the long game.

So, Donald Trump is a major traitor to the United States. He should probably be in prison, but what do I know, right?
