[COMMENTARY] The QAnon QIdiot Qongress

Friday was a special day on Twitter for those who pay attention to the QAnon Quorum that has taken over Congress. We already know the atrocious Marjorie Taylor Greene aka “Marjorie Manson”(remember when she was relevant for a hot minute for being awful but can’t do anything now that she’s not allowed to work? Yeah), but now her fellow QIdiot freshmen Madison “Qawthorn” Cawthorn and Lauren “Squeaky” Boebert each decided to demonstrate how little each of them knows about government or the world at large.

When it seems like the minority of stupid people are holding the majority of us hostage, there’s a frustrating imbalance that you strive to right no matter how obtuse the angle. Lauren Boebert is a high school dropout who got her GED, which is usually the way every other Lifetime movie about a scrappy single mom begins, but in her case, she completed her GED while campaigning for office. I don’t know about you, but I’d like my elected officials to have a little distance and life experience under their belts between graduation and deciding legislation, but I also don’t believe lizard people are kidnapping babies and drinking their blood.

Boebert, who recently appeared for a remote Congressional hearing with a full arsenal on display behind her, tweeted that “protecting and defending the Constitution doesn’t mean trying to rewrite the parts you don’t like”, which got her dragged enough.

But then she went ahead and did this too, because she also clearly never heard of amendments.

Meanwhile, Madison “Hitler Is Just Alright With Me” Cawthorn demonstrated his complete lack of awareness regarding the location of the Vatican (hint: pretty sure he didn’t know it’s not in America) and what can and can’t happen there.

Good thing Qawthorn has plenty of people willing to help set the record straight. Meaning, his.

If these three aren’t expelled before November 2022, their potential opponents already have plenty of fodder for campaign ads just from Friday’s Twitter.
