[COMMENTARY] Kamala Harris Campaign Launch One of the Biggest In Modern Political History

The Kamala Harris For President campaign has raised an astonishing $126 million just since Sunday.

In fact, in the first 48 hours, VP Harris outraised her new opponent's totals for the entire month of June.

Trump's campaign raised $112 million last month.

ActBlue tweeted that the campaign launch "made for some of the "biggest days" in their 20-year history.

"We've never seen enthusiasm like this!" their tweet said.

The former Biden-Harris campaign had consistently out-raised Trump's except for in April and May--during Trump's conviction in his hush money election interference trial in New York.

WinRed, the main donation platform for Republicans, crashed when MAGA supporters happily sent more of their grifted money to the alleged millionaire to pay his legal fees.

ActBlue's site, it should be noted, didn't crash at all while taking in hundreds of thousands of unique donations.

Aside from the record tally, VP Harris continues to rake in the endorsements from Democrats and celebrities alike.

Harris for President Chair Jen O'Malley Dillon shared a memo via email on Wednesday to highlight the popularity of Vice President Harris and the excitement behind her new presidential bid.

"From day one, the Biden-Harris campaign has not only been prepared to win a close election, it has been designed to win a close election," the memo reads. "Vice President Harris will now inherit that robust campaign operation."

Calling Trump's politics "extremism" and focusing heavily on reproductive rights, O'Malley Dillon ends the memo with a message that should scare MAGA:

"Bottom line: This campaign will be close, it will be hard fought, but Vice President Harris is in a position of strength – and she's going to win."
