[COMMENTARY] Gay Hookup App Grindr Experienced Major Outage During RNC

When your poll numbers are going down, you go on the downlow.

That's apparently what happened this week as countless closeted conservatives descended on Milwaukee to attend the Republican National Convention.

Gay hookup app Grindr reported record traffic during the RNC, to the point where the app experienced a major outage.

And no, I don't mean of Matt Schlapp. Gropey did that to himself a while back and I don't know why his beard wife Mercedes hasn't caught on yet, but that's not really my problem.

Mashable reported that while there have been plenty of joke tweets about Grindr at the RNC, the very real issues with the app itself have been popping up in other cities as well as Milwaukee.

According to Downdetector (owned by Mashable's parent company, Ziff Davis), Grindr has been experiencing technical problems in Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York — all "hotspots" for outages starting last Thursday, the 18th, as the gays were getting ready to gather for the RNC.

Continuing the jokey Grindr tweet trend while openly flaunting his felonious fascism was expelled Congressman George "Anthony Devolder Zabrovsky Kitara Ravache Jingleheimer Schmidt" Santos, who thought he was being cute when he's AN EXPELLED MEMBER OF CONGRESS AWAITING SENTENCING ON FELONIES HE COMMITTED. JUST LIKE TRUMP.

Santos shared a video on Twitter (where he's had me blocked for nearly two years), trying to use some shady shaming to get his fellow gay Republicans to out themselves before he does.

"I'm openly gay, no qualms about it," said the self-proclaimed "proud conservative Republican" who once managed to grift a woman into marrying him.

Santos also said that he met his husband on Grindr, as if that's a selling point.
