[COMMENTARY] ‘Amy Kriminal’ and Her Pro-Trump Group Are Making Georgia GOP Nervous

[Writer’s disclosure: I am blocked on Twitter by both Amy Kremer and Women For America First]

A former Tea Party activist who spent weeks firing up Donald Trump supporters ahead of the January 6th “Stop the Steal” rally she helped organize is making Georgia officials nervous after her mysteriously funded group set up shop there.

Amy Kremer’s Women For America First not only helped plan the rally, but they also continue to support the effort to overturn the legitimate results of the 2020 election. Now Kremer and her co-conspirators have started hosting grassroots events in her home state of Georgia encouraging Trump’s supporters to stand up and take action against alleged voter fraud, reported Vice News.

Kremer and her 30-year-old daughter, Kylie Jane Kremer, are the only public members of Women for America First, a rebranded holdover from the Tea Party era, when she was able to get close with U.S. senators and anti-tax activists like Grover Norquist and Ginni Thomas, the wife of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.

Kremer constantly seeks donations up $5,000, but it’s not clear where the money comes from or how the dark money group spends it. She and her group hosted a “Save America Summit” at the Trump National Doral resort in April that was headlined by Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene (Q-GA) and Matt Gaetz (Q-FL), and since then she’s been trying to raise support for an Arizona-style election audit in Georgia and a recall election for secretary of state Brad Raffensperger. Kremer is also vaguely planning a “MAGAfest” over Labor Day weekend and a national day of protest against Trump’s election loss, coronavirus precautions, immigration and the arrests of Capitol rioters — whom she calls “political prisoners.”

It’s possible Kremer is just pretending she doesn’t know she’s in big trouble with the FEC, which is literally Page One of the Trump Rule Book when committing crimes: don’t let on that you know they know.

The grift will go on as long as the FBI and the FEC let Amy Kremer walk around free, which hopefully won’t be too much longer. Watch Kremer in action, below. And yes, these are real people in the real state of Georgia in the year 2021.
