CNN's Harry Enten Explains Why Trump Is In a Polling Nightmare [VIDEO]

During a Monday morning segment on CNN, pollster Harry Enten dove deep into how bad things have been for Donald Trump over the last three weeks.

Not long ago, Republicans celebrated during their National Convention, feeling good about taking the Senate, the House of Representatives and the White House. But since Kamala Harris took over the race, GOP numbers have been plunging around the country.

Enten went over recent numbers, telling John Berman:

"So let’s take a look here, all right? Trust more on the issue that’s most important to you — this is among likely voters. In June we’re going to look at a national number. Look at this: We see Donald Trump at 50%, look at Joe Biden at just 40%. So Donald Trump had a ten point lead on the issue that folks said was most important to them, they could list any issue. Jump forward now to Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, what do we see? We see a completely different ballgame. We see Harris at 50%, we see Donald Trump at 48%."

The polling expert continued by saying, "But a ten point advantage for Trump. I mean, you go and this is the type of stuff that campaigns dream about and if you’re Donald Trump, nightmares about! Look at this Harris now with the two point advantage. This is significant movement."
